This site is operated by Profound Training Ltd (the "Data Processor") on behalf of Bognor Counselling and Training CIC (the "Data Owner").

We collect your personal data in order to provide you with a learning and accreditation service via this Web site (‘our services’) and to correspond with you. This service is provided as part of a learning contract signed by yourself.
We collect personal data from you when you interact with us. This can be through this site, our other, websites, over the phone, via online chat and meeting services, in person, including, without limitation, when you:
- create a user account on this site, or we create one for you;
- request support;
- register for or participate in an online class, exam, certification, training, webcast or other event;
- request information or materials;
- participate in surveys or evaluations;
- participate in promotions, contests or giveaways;
- submit questions or comments; or
- submit content or posts on our forums or other interactive Web pages.

We only rely on ‘legitimate interests’ as the legal basis for processing by us, or third parties, to provide login systems to users via their existing social media accounts (where applicable).

Sensitive personal data

We are not responsible for any sensitive personal data you volunteer while using this Web site – for example in group chat or open forums, or that you choose to share with other site users.
How we use your personal data
We use your personal data to provide and track learning and training services through this Web site. We may need to pass your personal data on to third-party services – for example, to submit test results and other material to authorising bodies responsible for validating test results and accreditations, or to facilitate communication with other parties necessary to facilitate or complete your training.
We may also pass on your details to other services related to this site, such as for creating accounts for video conferencing and chat platforms, which will not work unless we are able to make these transfers. Any third parties we share your data with are obliged to keep your personal data secure, use it only for necessary service delivery and delete it when it is no longer needed.
How and where we store personal data
We will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the DPA. We maintain physical, organisational and technical safeguards for all personal data we hold. We will endeavour to keep your information accurate and up to date, and not keep it for longer than is necessary. We are required to retain certain information in accordance with the law, such as information needed for validating certifications and contractual agreements. How long certain kinds of personal data should be kept are governed by specific business sector requirements and agreed practices. Personal data can be held in addition to these periods depending on individual business needs.
We will process different forms of personal data for as long as it is necessary and proportionate for the purpose for which it has been supplied and we will store the personal data for the shortest amount of time possible, taking into account legal and service requirements.
This Web site is hosted in a secure data centre in the EU. User and admin access to the site is via a secure (https) Web user/password login. Admin access to the server itself is via a secure (ssh) console login using a user/password account requiring Multi Factor Authentication.
Correspondence related to your use of this site (e.g. emails and attachments) will transit via our third party mail service providers, under the terms of their data privacy policies.
Marketing
We have no interest in collecting any data beyond that needed to ensure our services work for you. We do not sell data, and has no intentions in doing so in the future.
Your rights when we process your personal data
At any point while we are in possession of or we process your personal data, you have the following rights:
- right to withdraw consent to our processing your data;
- right of access (to see what data we hold about you);
- right of rectification (to have mistakes or omissions corrected);
- right to erasure;
- right of data portability (to have a copy of your personal data);
